NCM’s play an important role to the operation of the Squadron. Below is a list of NCM positions available in the 2023-2024 Training Year. NCM’s can apply to a max of three positions and the deadline to apply for most positions is Wednesday September 13, at midnight. NOTE: The deadline for Chief Squadron Warrant Officer is Wednesday Sept 6th at 1700hrs. Cadets who apply for the Chief Squadron Warrant Officer position and are unsuccessful, will be allowed to resubmit an application for other NCO positions between September 7th and Sept 13th.
The available positions are:
- Chief Squadron Warrant Officer - must be WOII, eligible for WOI at some point in the training year.
- Deputy Squadron Warrant Officer & Training Warrant Officer - must be FSgt or WOII
- Squadron Warrant Officer for Standards Warrant Officer - must be FSgt or WOII
- Squadron Warrant Officer for Sports, Fitness & Morale Warrant - must be FSgt or WOII
- Flight Commander (5 positions available) - must be FSgt or WOII
- Flight 2IC (5 positions available) - must be Sgt or higher
- Senior Media NCM - must be FSgt or WOII
- Media NCM 2IC - multiple positions, Cpl or higher
- Supply NCM - Sgt or higher
- Supply NCM 2IC - multiple positions, Cpl or higher
- Canteen NCM - Sgt or FSgt
- Canteen NCn 2IC - multiple positions, Cpl or higher
- Flag Party Commander - must be Sgt or higher
- Senior Drill Team Commander - must be Sgt or higher
- Junior Drill Team Commander - must be Sgt or higher
