Poppy Drive 2025

WHEN: 

 Saturday November 8, 2025

WHERE: 

 Drop off: 0900 hrs @ Newmarket Legion 
 Pick up: 1600 hrs @ Newmarket Legion 

WHO: 

 All Cadets - 60 Cadets are required to fill all locations. 

WHY: 

 Support the Royal Canadian Legion. 

DRESS: 

 C-1 Full Uniform, with Parka and Mitts. Toque is optional. Cadets who do not yet have a uniform will wear their FTU's or white shirt, black tie, pants & shoes with a civilian jacket. 

NOTES/KIT LIST: 

Cadets attending must participate in BOTH the morning and afternoon drive. 

Lunch is provided (Hot dogs/Burgers is the usual lunch provided) - If you have dietary restrictions, please bring your own lunch, which can be stored at the Legion.  
 
Parent Drivers Needed – Cadets are asked to arrive at the time listed above with a parent/guardian and come into the legion for mandatory briefing. Cadets will depart after the safety briefing to go to their assigned locations. Cadets are driven by their own parent/guardian. 

Community Service Hours Available for High School Students 
 
Community Service Training Requirement – Cadets are required to attended the Poppy Drive or Remembrance Day Parade in order to pass the Community Service requirement for the current training year.
