For Level 1-4 Cadets 

WHEN:  

 October 19-20, 2024

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  

 Midnight on Oct 16. Late registrations will not be possible. 

WHERE:  

Drop off: 0830 hrs @ Woodland Trails Scout Camp - Main Parking Lot - 14919 Kennedy Rd, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON 
Pick up: 1430 hrs @ Woodland Trails - Main Parking Lot 

WHO:  

 For All Cadets in Level 1-4

WHY:  

 Mandatory Survival Training Exercise.  In order to pass their training level, each cadet must attend one Field Training Exercise (FTX) per training year. It is highly recommend that cadets attend both FTXs (Fall & Spring).  

NOTES/KIT LIST:  

 Cadets are to bring ALL items listed on the kit list. Cadet are NOT allowed to bring: Knifes, laptop computers, tablets, game systems or other electronic devices. Cadet may bring their cell phone, at their own risk. 94 Squadron will not be responsible for any lost or damaged personal items. 
 
NOTE: CADETS WILL BE STAYING OUTSIDE FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME DURING THE DAY, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE DRESSED APPROPRIATELY!  
 

NOTE: Level 3's & 4's will be sleeping outside in tents.
Level 1-2 & 5 Cadets will be sleeping inside in cabins. 

KIT LIST 
 
Kit should be packed into a single “duffle bag” style bag that can be easily carried. 

Do not pack your kit into a garbage bag or rolling suitcase 

Dress is FTU's with Squadron Cap. Cadets are encouraged to bring other clothing in case they need to change our of FTU's. 

  • Health card (MANDATORY) 
  • Pillow &  Sleeping Bag 
  • Single size Air/Foam Mattress (Level 1-4)
  • Towel and Hygiene kit (deodorant, toothpaste/brush, hair products, etc.) 
  • Rain gear/ Winter Jacket, Hat, Mitts 
  • Water bottle 
  • Mug for Hot Chocolate 
  • Running Shoes 
  • Outdoor footwear (waterproof) 
  • Change of clothes for 3 days (in case of rain – lots of dry clothes & extra socks) 
  • Sunscreen 
  • Flash light 
  • Level 4-5's: Pen & notepad 
  • Level 5 Instructors only: 1 multi-tool or survival knife. The blade must not exceed 4 inches or 10 cm.

Cadets must be in possession of their Health Card during all cadet activities. 94 RCACS is not responsible for any personal items that may become lost or damaged during cadet activities. 

 

Parent/Guardian Permission: The Cadet(s) named in the following online registration form has been granted permission by the parent/guardian listed on the registrations form. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to monitor cadet registrations and cancel a registration, if the cadet no longer has permission to attend an activity. 

Registration Cancellation Note: You will be able to cancel your registration up until the registration deadline listed above. After the deadline, you must submit an absence report.Please keep in mind, that most activities require meals, accommodations or transportation to be coordinated in advance.
