Gliding Day #1 (For Level 2 Cadets only)

WHERE: 

Drop off: Woodland Trails Scout Camp Parking Lot at 7:00AM (14919 Kennedy Rd, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON) 
 
Pick up: Woodland Trails Scout Camp Parking Lot at 2:30PM (same time as FTX dismissal) 

*Return time may change depending on Weather in Borden & Weekend Traffic. Cadets will be advised to text when they are 30 minutes away. 

WHO: 

LEVEL 2 Cadets, who have never been gliding before. We are allowed to take a maximum of 10 cadets, on a first come first serve.

There will be other Gliding dates later in the year for cadets in other training levels. 

DO NOT register if you had the opportunity to fly in a Glider during the previous Gliding date. With limited spaces, opportunities should be given to Cadets who have never been before. 

WHY: 

Glider Familiarization Flights   

DRESS: 

Appropriate outdoor civilian clothing. 

NOTES/KIT LIST: 

Cadets will need to bring their health card, snacks, a hat, sun screen and a water bottle. Cadets may bring sports equipment or personal electronics – however 94 Sqn is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.   

There is no longer a canteen at the gliding centre, so bring your own snacks as needed. Lunch will be available to cadets once they return to Woodland Trails.
