Overnight Vigil

Location: 

Newmarket Cenotaph (227 Church St) and the Newmarket Vets Association Building ( 406 Millard Ave)

When: 

Arrive at 1300hrs on 9 Nov 24 at the Newmarket Vets Association Building (406 Millard Ave) 
Cadets will stay at Newmarket Vets Association down the street from the Newmarket Cenotaph, rotating on guard duty until the Parade at 1300 hrs on 10 Nov 24. 

Cadets will be required to stay until after the Parade on Sunday to help pack up crosses & candles from Newmarket Cenotaph.  If you have a parent who is able to help drive boxes back to the Legion, it is much appreciated. Approximately 1530 hrs. 

Who: 

Level 3-5 Cadets ONLY

Dress: 

Arrive in civilian clothing. Bring Full Uniform (C-1), with Parka & Mitts. Toque is optional depending on temperature. Uniform must be ironed prior to arrival.  
Temperatures expected to drop overnight, thermal underwear recommend/ layers under the cadet uniform.  

Kit List: 

·    Change of clothing 
·    Sleeping bag 
·    Pillow 

Dinner on Saturday night, Breakfast & Lunch on Sunday are provided. Cadets are allowed to bring snacks.
